Karen Stauffer, LPC, MA, Clinical Resident
Karen enjoys working with children, adolescents and women's issues. She provides support and encouragement to families and individuals exploring issues of stress, anxiety, ADHD, gifted child/adolescent, loss, depression, anger and school issues. Through the use of discussion, games, art and literature, individuals feel comfortable and encouraged to explore the issues that they are facing. As a Christian, Karen respects each person's choice to make their own beliefs a part of their counseling experience.
Karen received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wittenberg University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Michigan State University. Karen has also worked with families at Beech Acres Family Center in Cincinnati, OH and Brown County Counseling in Georgetown, OH.
Karen and her husband, Jim, have two wonderful children. She loves spending time with her family playing board games, enjoying movie nights, and going on adventures. Karen also enjoys reading, crafting, and nature.
